It is that time again, time for the third annual Best of Manik Creations style. Check out the Best of 2014 and the Best of 2015, if you have a second. As is the case every year I did not get to read as much as I would have liked. Life happens and that usually cuts into my reading.
In case you are not familiar here are the rules and criteria for the awards. The list includes all the graphic novels, superhero and non-superhero, novels, and nonfiction literature I have read during the past year. The thing that may confuse some readers is that some of what I have read may be old (meaning it was probably not published this year), so I may choose an older graphic novel for my Best of 2016. So it does not matter when it was published just matters that I read it in the last year.
On New Year’s day I will post my best of for each category listed below, as well as best story, best artwork, and probably best interview. I may also throw in a few other categories, but we will see. In no particular order here is everything I have read broken down by category.
Novel – Do Androids Dream of Electric Sleep , Where Futures End, Wired, Simularcron – 3, October First is Too Late, We, On a Pale Horse.
